A.D.H.Dee: A Life in a Day
As part of our client work module for our Animation degree, my class and I were split into groups and commissioned by IADT’s Teaching and Learning Committee, as part of the 2024 Local Enhancement Projects (LEP) and under the auspices of The National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. For this, we were tasked to create an animated short that would help the general public understand the challenges that come with ADHD and how best they could support those who have been diagnosed. My team and I decided to take the perspective of a newly diagnosed student with ADHD, looking back on her life and seeing her experiences in a new light.
Through this piece I was primarily the producer, but also worked on the animation, compositing, concept art, script writing, storyboarding and cleanup.
The other members of my group who all did fantastic work were Rebecca Munnelly, Chris Casey, Tommy Bermingham, Saoirse McAvoy and Aislinn Blackwell, and I want to thank them all for the opportunity to work with them.
